Laura Parker McAleer
Associate Vice President, Federal & Washington Relations
Laura McAleer leads the University’s Washington Office, helping to develop and advance the University’s strategic priorities in the nation’s capital. In this capacity, she seeks to strengthen Notre Dame’s impact with key research and policy thought leaders and provides campus leadership with advice and counsel on federal policies and regulations.

Jill Pentimonti
Executive Director of Research Advancement
Jill Pentimonti is responsible for strengthening the University's impact and reach with federal research agencies, as well as coordinating faculty engagements with research communities of interest. In this role, Jill also continues to pursue her own line of research through her current research grant portfolio and new funding opportunities.

Executive Director for Federal Relations
Crystal Martinez is responsible for strengthening Notre Dame’s impact on federal higher education policy, regulatory and research matters. Crystal will also assist the University in advancing key relationships with federal partners and higher education associations.

Ali Nepola is responsible for advancing the University’s strategic priorities in our nation’s capital through engagement with federal policymakers and thought-leaders. In this capacity, she advises campus partners on legislative initiatives and opportunities for policy impact in key areas.

Director of Strategic Engagements and Protocol
Kristen Garvin Podell advances the University's research mission and strategic priorities through high-impact engagements on both Notre Dame's main campus and in its Washington, D.C. office. She serves as the primary point of contact for advance security coordination, logistics, communications, and guest experience.

Strategic Engagement Manager
Olivia Rotolo assists with relationship building and strategic outreach with policy leaders, research agencies, and decision-makers to strengthen the University's presence in the nation's capital. She also supports faculty, researchers, and students in advancing policy-focused initiatives and communicating their impact.
